This guide will help you connect your professional email account to your iPhone, iPad, or Android device in just a few minutes.
Before you begin, you’ll need:
Your email address (example: [email protected])
Your email password
Your mail server name (provided by ECoverMe)
Recommended: Use IMAP so your email stays synchronized across all of your devices.
Email Server Settings
Use the following settings when prompted.

iPhone & iPad (Apple Mail)
Step 1
Open
Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts → Add Account
(or on older versions of iOS:
Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account)

Choose
Other
then
Add Mail Account

Enter
Your Name
Email Address
Password
Description (optional)
Tap Next.
Step 4
Choose
IMAP
Fill in:
Incoming Mail Server
Host Name:
mail.yourdomain.com
Username:
Password:
Your password
Outgoing Mail Server
Host Name:
mail.yourdomain.com
Username:
Password:
Your password
Tap Next.
Apple may take a minute to verify the account.
Step 5
Enable
You can leave Contacts, Calendars, and Notes disabled unless instructed otherwise.
Tap Save.
Your email is now ready to use.
Android (Gmail App)
Step 1
Open the Gmail app.
Tap your profile picture.
Choose
Add another account
Step 2

Other (IMAP)
Step 3
Enter your email address.
Tap Next.

Personal (IMAP)
Step 5
Enter your password.

Choose your preferred synchronization settings.
Tap Next.
Your email is now configured.
Samsung Email
If you use the Samsung Email app instead of Gmail:
Open Samsung Email
Tap Add Account
Enter your email address
Select Manual Setup
Choose IMAP
Enter the same server settings shown above
Save the account
Common Issues
Incorrect Password
Verify:
Caps Lock is off
Your full email address is entered as the username
There are no extra spaces
Cannot Connect to Server
Check:
Internet connection
Mail server name
SSL/TLS is enabled
Port numbers are correct

Cannot Send Email
Verify:
SMTP authentication is enabled
Username is your full email address
SMTP port is 465 (or 587 if instructed by support)
